SAFSS Receives Toronto Community Champion Award

On March 20th, 2023, SAFSS was awarded the Toronto Community Champion Award for playing an integral role and providing vital services throughout the pandemic.

This Award provides an opportunity for the City of Toronto to honour the collective commitment and unwavering determination of organizations that supported residents and communities through the difficult and most unprecedented time we have ever experienced.

The Toronto Community Champion Award  is part of the Stronger TOgether initiative, funded in part by the Government of Canada. It recognizes organizations that provided exceptional support for Torontonians during the pandemic and celebrates the resilience of Toronto residents as the City continues to recover from the pandemic.
