Maxwell is a Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) with a broad career spanning the mining, insurance, and banking sectors. He holds an MBA from the Ted Rogers School of Management and a Postgraduate Certificate in Human Resources Management from Humber College, graduating with highest honours. He also earned a BA in Psychology from Western University and completed specialized employee-benefits designations through the Wharton School of Business and the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans.
In his current role in the banking sector, Maxwell oversees employee retirement, savings, and share programs, driving alignment across policy, technology, and the employee experience. Maxwell has served on the SAFSS board for five years, including roles as vice chair and head of the governance and human resources committee.
