Dasrat Prasad - Treasurer
Das is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), Certified General Accountant (CGA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), and has a Certification in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA). He is also a Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and holds a BSc in Accounting from Oxford Brookes University, UK. He brings to the SAFSS Board more than 20 years of progressive experience in financial reporting; financial management; governance, risk and controls; internal and external auditing honed from positions in senior roles in diverse industries both in the private and public sectors. Earlier in his career he worked as a consultant to establish robust governance models and processes for various NPOs funded by international funding organizations. Das enjoys pyrographing and being a handyman in his spare time. As a Scarborough resident since 2004, he is excited to join the SAFSS Board
